Mini Chocolate Mousse with Carolina Cookie Triple Chocolate Pecan Crumbles

  • 4 ounce package sweet chocolate
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounce Cool Whip, thawed
  • 6 Carolina Cookie Triple Chocolate cookies crumbled

Use 1 1/2 – 2 ounce shot glasses. Recipe fills 18-22 shot glasses. Heat chocolate and 2 Tablespoons of milk in saucepan over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted. With electrc mixer, beat sugar into cream cheese, add remaining milk and chocolate mixture and beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping blending until smooth. Crumble Carolina Cookie Triple Chocolate Pecan cookies. Layer the cookie crumbles and chocolate mousse beginning with the cookie crumbles and ending with sprinkling cookie crumbles on the top of the mousse. Use a decorating bag to get the mousse in the shot glass. If you don’t have one, you can make your own by cutting a small corner off a plastic baggie. Store in freezer until ready to serve. Set out about 30 minutes before serving.
